A ten-year-old straight bourbon from Widow Jane Distillery in Red Hook, Brooklyn, bottled at 45.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is non-chill filtered.
The whiskey is assembled from sourced straight bourbons from Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana, blended in small batches of five barrels. Each batch is proofed with mineral-rich limestone water from the Rosendale Mines in upstate New York.
Sweet cream, butter, vanilla and orange peel open the nose. Cherry wood, maple, orange and caramel lead the palate, and the finish is long and warm, with charred oak, baking spice and burnt orange.
