Widow Jane Aged 10 Years is a blend of straight bourbon whiskeys matured for ten years in new American oak barrels. This is Batch 704, dated 2022, bottled at 45.5% (91 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
It is blended and bottled in Red Hook, Brooklyn, and reduced with limestone mineral water from the Rosendale mines in New York. Each bottle carries its batch and bottle number.
The nose combines vanilla, caramel and honeyed oak with dried cherry, orange peel and baking spice. The palate is soft and rounded, with brown sugar, dark chocolate, toasted nuts and stewed fruit over cinnamon and clove. The finish is long and mellow, with oak, leather and sweet caramel.
