This is a rye whiskey from Widow Jane, in a 75cl bottle. The rye distillate is aged in a once-used bourbon barrel, and fresh-cut applewood staves are added alongside the oak.
The applewood was chosen to take the flavour of the rye in a different direction, towards a soothing and fruity character in contrast to traditional ryes.
