Wild Turkey Master's Keep 17 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Master's Keep series, overseen by Master Distiller Eddie Russell. It was aged in the distillery's heat-cycled warehouses and is bottled in bond at 100 proof (50%) in a 750ml bottle.
Bottled in Bond under the Act of 1897 means one distilling season and one distillery.
The colour is deep copper amber. The nose has dried fruit, caramel, toffee and seasoned oak, with hints of vanilla and tobacco. The palate brings toffee, brown sugar, leather, baking spice and roasted nuts, with subtle smokiness. The finish is very long and warming, with oak and dark chocolate.
