The nose layers brandied cherry over tart cherry, then opens with time to cinnamon and baking spices and a touch of oak. The palate is robust, with dark cherry, burnt vanilla and spice, and a weighty mouthfeel.
The finish is long and led by spice, with the cherry pushing through.
