A 15-year-old Islay single malt from the Williamson label, which is closely tied to Laphroaig. It was distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2025 by Berry Bros. & Rudd for Switzerland, after maturing in a barrel. It is a limited edition at 56.9% ABV.
The nose is smoky and peaty, with sea salt, some vanilla, leather and oak, and plums and dark berries behind them, plus a faint medicinal note.
On the palate the peat and smoke stay strong alongside liquorice, tannic oak and a salty, slightly burning spice, with chocolate, dried fruit and caramel sweetness. The finish is long, smoky and warm, with lingering saltiness, dark fruit and oak spice.
