Winglore Bogey Dope Solo Bourbon (75cl, 58.2%)

Winglore Bogey Dope Solo is a barrel-proof Virginia bourbon from Winglore Spirits, bottled at 58.2% in a 750ml bottle without chill filtration or the addition of water. The name comes from fighter-pilot language, where bogey dope means tactical targeting information. Solo marks a single barrel selection, so each batch reflects the character of its own barrel. The nose is dense caramel and toasted oak with cinnamon, clove and black pepper. Brown sugar, charred oak, dark toffee and leather meet a rye-like spice on the palate. The long finish brings toasted grain, dried tobacco leaf and bittersweet chocolate.
