Wolfburn Aurora is a Highland single malt from Wolfburn Distillery in Thurso. It is made from unpeated spirit matured in a combination of bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose opens with sherry sweetness, freshly cut grass and autumn fruits, with hints of coffee and dark chocolate. The palate is floral and gently spiced, with vanilla and fruity sweetness, and fruit and nut flavours that develop smoothly. The finish is warm, soft and gently lingering, with the sherry influence carrying to the end.
