Wolfburn Small Batch 318 is a single malt from Wolfburn Distillery in Thurso, Scotland, and the sixth release in the Small Batch series. It is a marriage of lightly peated spirit from two types of cask. One portion spent just over seven years in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts, while the other matured for seven years in first-fill bourbon barrels. Batch 318 is limited to 4,800 bottles. It is described as sweet, rounded and balanced, with gentle peat smoke alongside sherry sweetness and the smoothness of bourbon casks.
