Wolfcraig 14 Year Old is a blended whisky in a 70cl bottle, with a minimum age of 14 years. It was matured in freshly emptied bourbon barrels, then finished in three sherry casks, Amontillado, Oloroso and Moscatel, chosen from Bodega San Andres. Richard Paterson OBE and Ian Macmillan crafted it.
The colour is a golden honeyed satinwood.
The nose offers sun-ripened raisins, fresh peaches, tangerines and lemon grass, with creamy caramel and vanilla behind. The palate brings figs, sweet sultanas and Napoleon cake, with demerara sugar and molasses. The finish has glazed tangerines, marzipan and chocolate mousse, with spicy ginger and nutmeg.
