Wolves Signature Blend Special Release by Jon Buscemi & James Bond

This is a special release of the Wolves Signature Blend, made by Jon Buscemi and James Bond. It is a blended American whiskey distilled from craft beer rather than a grain mash, using a copper brandy still. The blend combines whiskey distilled from stout, aged nine years in used French oak, whiskey distilled from a California pale ale, aged seven years in used French oak, and two seven-year-old ryes aged in new American oak. A rye was chosen to cut the sweetness with spice on the back palate. The nose is typically described as honeysuckle, citrus, hops, milk chocolate, black cherry and warm vanilla. The palate brings tangerine, dark chocolate, hops, oak and nutmeg, with a long, warm finish and rising spice.
