Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon is distilled at the Labrot & Graham Distillery in Kentucky. It is bottled at 45.2% in a 70cl bottle.
The bourbon is first matured in charred American oak barrels, then moved to a second barrel that is deeply toasted and lightly charred. That second barrel is made for this expression.
The nose is dark chocolate, marzipan and toasted oak, with butterscotch and burnt orange peel. The palate brings sweet vanilla, roasted hazelnut, dark fruit and honeyed spice, and the long finish has deep caramel, smoke, cinnamon toast and oak tannins.
