Woodford Reserve – Master's Collection No. 22 Super Seasoned Oak (70cl, 50.2%)

Woodford Reserve Master's Collection No. 22 is a 2026 Kentucky bourbon called Super Seasoned Oak, created under Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall. It is bottled at 50.2% ABV in a 700ml bottle. The release looks at the wood rather than the spirit. The American oak staves were weathered outdoors for five to seven years before the barrels were built, which reduces harsh green tannins. The bourbon then matured for nine years. The nose has caramel and vanilla, then almond, cherry and dried red apple, with cinnamon. The palate is velvety vanilla and caramel lifted by orange oils, cinnamon and clove. The finish is sweet, with warming cinnamon.
