This is a 12 year old small-batch bourbon from World Whiskey Society, released as a limited edition. It has been finished in ex-Macallan sherry casks, which brings American bourbon together with a Scotch whisky cask influence.
The nose is of dark chocolate, dried figs and toasted oak. On the palate there are layers of caramel, spiced honey, red fruits and vanilla. The finish is long and warm, slightly smoky, with a sherry-soaked richness.
