This is a 6 year old bourbon from World Whiskey Society, finished in peated casks. The finish adds the smoke of peated whisky to the sweetness of a classic American bourbon. The barrels were hand-selected before the peated cask finish, and the release is described as a limited edition. The nose is toasted oak, vanilla bean and hints of charred earth. The palate brings caramelised sugar, dark cherry and rich peat smoke. The finish is long, warm and slightly spicy, with a touch of lingering smoke.
