This is a 12 year old Scotch whisky from Wormtub, drawn from a single cask as batch 5. It is bottled at 58.2% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is rich with sultanas, dense fruit cake, milk chocolate raisins and tangy marmalade, backed by baking spices. The palate is thick and mouth-coating, with oily malt, cured meats, spiced fruit loaf, toasted walnuts and sherried oak.
The finish is long and warming, with a savoury character of rich oak, currants, preserved walnuts and peppery spice.
