Wormtub 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 56.8%)

Wormtub 12 is a 12 year old single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 56.8% ABV without chill filtration. It is named after the traditional worm tub condensers, coiled copper pipes cooled in cold water tanks, which are used to make the spirit. The nose is dense, with dark toffee, roasted malt, stewed orchard fruit, charred oak and a little earthy smoke. The palate is full-bodied and oily, with caramel, dried fruit, toasted barley, dark chocolate and oak spice. The finish is long and warm, with malt sweetness, oak tannin and soft spice.
