This is a single cask Port Ellen from the Islay distillery, bottled by Douglas Laing as part of its Xtra Old Particular range. It was distilled in 1983 and matured for 35 years in a single refill hogshead.
It was bottled straight from the cask at 54.3%, non-chill filtered and with no added colour. The outturn was 133 hand-filled bottles, each in a 70cl bottle.
