A single malt from the Yuza distillery in Yamagata prefecture, Japan, distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2022 at 61% ABV. It comes from a single sherry butt, #280, which gave 360 bottles, and forms part of the Whisky Magazine Craft Whisky Collection.
Yuza is a very small distillery, run by Kinryu Corporation, a company established in 1950 with investment from nine sake makers. It stands in the town of Yuza, at the foot of Mt. Chokai.
