Zumbador Tequila Reposado (40%)

A reposado tequila crafted by the López family at Destilería El Sabino in Los Altos, Jalisco. It uses 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave, cooked in traditional masonry ovens, crushed by both tahona and roller mill, wild-fermented in wood and stainless, and double-distilled in copper and steel, with no additives. The nose leads with rich cooked agave, lifted by vanilla, butterscotch, oak spice and dried citrus peel, with a faint earthy or herbal undertone and light black pepper warmth. The palate has a light mouthfeel, with sweet cooked agave, caramel or toffee sweetness, mild cinnamon spice and a peppery citrus character. The finish is medium-length, warm and pepper-forward, fading into clove, toasted oak and residual agave sweetness.
