10th Street Distillery – California Coast Whiskey (42%)

California Coast Whiskey is a blended American whiskey from 10th Street Distillery, bottled at 42%. It combines two of the distillery's California-made single malts, STR and Distiller's Cut, with two pot-still distilled light whiskies from the old Seagram's plant in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The distillery describes it as easy drinking and refreshing, and suggests it as an aperitif or alongside a meal. The colour is lightly oaked Chardonnay. The nose has American oak, stewed stone fruits, vanilla custard and coconut cream, with sea air and salinity. The palate brings panna cotta, light campfire embers and heather honey, and the finish has glazed donuts and lime with a silky mouthfeel.
