10th Street – California Coast Blend Whiskey (75cl, 42%)

10th Street California Coast Blend is a blended whiskey bottled at 42% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is made at the San Jose, California distillery founded by engineers Virag Saksena and Vishal Gauri. The blend joins two of the distillery's California single malts, STR and the peated Distiller's Cut, with two pot-still light whiskies from Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The light whiskies were distilled to a higher proof to give a more delicate base for the fuller single malts. The colour is that of a lightly oaked Chardonnay. The nose offers stewed stone fruits, vanilla custard, coconut cream and sea air. The palate is panna cotta, light campfire embers and heathered honey, and the finish brings glazed donuts and lime sours with a silky mouthfeel.
