10th Street Peated Single Malt is an American single malt from 10th Street Distillery in San Jose, California, bottled at 46% (92 proof) and non-chill-filtered. The distillery was founded by Virag Saksena and Vishal Gauri.
It is made from malted barley peated in Scotland's Islay region, double distilled in copper pot stills and matured in first fill bourbon casks.
The colour is light gold. The nose has bright citrus, vanilla bean, orange peel and ripe plum with peat smoke. The palate is creamy, with vanilla, red apple peel, butterscotch and baked plums against a balanced smokiness. The finish is full and buttery, with a long peaty close.
