10th Street Distillery – California Coast Blended Whisky (75cl, 42%)

California Coast is a blended whisky from 10th Street Distillery in San Jose, bottled at 42% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is the distillery's interpretation of California and its people. The blend starts with two California-made single malts, the STR and the Distiller's Cut. These are combined with two pot-still light whiskies from the former Seagram's plant in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, which are distilled to a higher proof and give a more delicate spirit. The nose offers American oak, stewed stone fruit, vanilla custard, coconut cream and sea air. The palate is panna cotta, light campfire embers and heather honey, and the finish brings glazed doughnuts, lime and a silky mouthfeel.
