10th Street California Coast Whisky

California Coast is a blended whisky from 10th Street Distillery. It combines two California-made single malts, the STR and the Distiller's Cut, with two pot-still light whiskies from the former Seagram's plant in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Light whiskies are distilled to a higher proof, which gives a more delicate spirit to blend the fuller single malts into. The distillery suggests it as an aperitif, in a highball, or alongside a meal. The nose brings stewed stone fruits, vanilla custard and coconut cream, with sea air and salinity. The palate is light, with panna cotta, campfire embers and heather honey. The finish has glazed doughnuts and lime, with a silky mouthfeel.
