This is a single malt Scotch whisky from Glasgow Distillery, in a 70cl bottle and supplied in a box. The 1770 Triple Distilled is made with three distillations, a rather uncommon method.
The distillery points to that triple distillation as the source of its purity and softness.
The nose offers vanilla and fresh fruit, with lime blossom, honey, sweet malt and a little white pepper. The palate is soft and rich, with almonds and a touch of cinnamon, and the long finish leaves citrus and white chocolate.
