A straight bourbon distilled at the Barton distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, with a rye-focused mash bill. It is bottled at 46.85% in a 75cl bottle. The name refers to 1792, the year Kentucky officially became a state.
The nose is sweet toasted cereals, creamy vanilla and custard, smouldering charred oak, caramel wafer, ice cream, soft raisins and sultanas.
On the palate, gentle spices open into toasted and caramelised peanuts, cinnamon and apricot patisseries, milk chocolate and caramel sauce, with a hint of soft runny honey.
