1792 Sweet Wheat is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Barton distillery team, bottled at 45.6% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is a limited edition.
The mash bill uses wheat in place of the more traditional rye. This gives a soft, smooth style in which sweetness and dryness sit in balance.
The flavour is usually described as vanilla and caramel, with a touch of white oak tannin and some dried fruit.
