A 15-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from Calumet Farm, bottled at 52.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered.
Each batch is made up of 19 barrels that aged together on one centre-cut rack in the warehouse, which gives the Single Rack Black name. The mashbill is 74% corn, 18% rye and 8% malted barley, matured in new charred oak.
The nose brings caramel and brown sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon, then cherry, apricot and seasoned oak. The palate is sweet and dense, with toffee, candied cherry and peppery rye. The finish is long, with leather, black pepper and toasted oak.
