1792 Small Batch is a high-rye Kentucky straight bourbon in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 46.85% ABV. It is made at Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown from a mashbill of 75% corn, 15% rye and 10% malted barley.
The Master Distiller chooses the barrels for each small batch release.
Caramel and vanilla lead the nose, with cinnamon and dark fruit. The palate is buttery, with caramel, cherry, black pepper, clove and cardamom, then roasted oak and orange peel. The finish is medium-long, with rye spice, caraway and toasted vanilla.
