A 1960s bottling of Johnnie Walker Extra Special Black Label, a blended Scotch whisky with a gold colour.
The nose is led by straight malt, with the brand's peatiness still present, then moves to dried oranges, chocolate and cereals before turning drier. The palate opens on a pronounced waxiness, with smoke, honey and malt, and an oily texture that recalls argan oil.
The finish is medium long, dry, smoky and malty.
