This is a 31 year old single grain Scotch whisky distilled at Strathclyde and bottled by A.D. Rattray as part of its Cask Collection. It is a limited release, bottled at natural cask strength without dilution, and without chill filtration or added colour.
The nose brings vanilla custard, honey, soft oak and toasted coconut. On the palate are caramelised sugar and baked apple with gentle spice and oak-driven richness. The finish is long and warming, with lingering vanilla and wood spice.
