A'Glac Charrann is a 1990 vintage single malt from the Imperial distillery, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American oak barrels and bottled at cask strength, without chill-filtration. Imperial closed for the last time in 1998.
The nose is rich with blackcurrant jam, orange marmalade, vanilla fudge, liquorice and walnut. On the palate, juicy redcurrants mix with ginger, caramel, cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is sweet and gently spiced.
