Abasolo is a Mexican whisky in a 70cl bottle, made in Jilotepec, where the distillery sits at 7800 feet above sea level. It is made solely from Cacahuazintle corn. The corn is nixtamalised and malted, fermented over an extended period and distilled twice in copper stills. Maturation takes place in both new and used casks. The flavours bring together toasted corn, honey and vanilla.
