Aberargie Expressions Golden Promise is a Lowland single malt from Perthshire, in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled from 100% heritage Golden Promise barley harvested on the distillery's own farm, then matured in oak casks.
It is bottled at natural colour and without chill-filtration.
The nose is warm malt, heather honey and toasted cereal, with yellow plum, crisp apple and gentle vanilla oak. The palate is oily and velvety, with buttered toast, creamy fudge and baked orchard fruit, plus soft nutmeg. The finish is long and warm, with sweet barley, dark honey and gentle wood tannins.
