Aberargie – Golden Promise Limited Edition (70cl, 48.2%)

Aberargie Golden Promise is a single malt from the Expressions Range, made entirely from Golden Promise barley grown on the Morrison family's farms. It is a limited edition bottled at 48.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The higher share of bourbon casks, 68% first-fill bourbon barrels with 32% first-fill sherry butts, brings out a structured, full-bodied side with creamy pastry notes and baked fruit. The colour is rich gold with a warm copper tone. The nose is oven-warm butter biscuits, stewed apples and brown sugar. On the palate it is powerful and round, with baked fruit, malty depth and fine baking spices, and the finish is long, warming and spicy.
