Aberargie – Laureate Barley Expression (70cl, 48.2%)

A Lowland single malt from Aberargie, distilled from 100% Laureate barley, a modern Scottish variety valued for its resilience and flavour. It is bottled at 48.2% in a 70cl bottle. The spirit was matured in 68% first-fill sherry butts and 32% first-fill bourbon casks. The sherry brings candied orange peel, dried fruits and warming spice, while the bourbon casks keep the bright orchard fruit and honeyed sweetness of the barley.
