Aberargie – Laureate Expression Bottled 2026 (70cl, 48.2%)

Aberargie Laureate Expression is a Lowland single malt, a distillery bottling released in 2026 in a 70cl bottle at 48.2% ABV. It was created to show the distillery's choice of barley. The whisky is made entirely from Laureate, a modern barley variety chosen for its resilience and flavour potential. It was matured in 68% first fill sherry butts and 32% first fill bourbon casks, a sherry-led combination intended to suit Laureate's vibrant, elegant character. Tasting notes mention candied orange peel, dried fruits and ripe orchard fruit, leading to a lingering honeyed finish.
