Aberargie Laureate is a single malt made entirely from Laureate barley, a modern variety chosen for its resilience and elegant aroma potential. It matured in 68% first fill sherry butts and 32% first fill bourbon barrels, and was bottled at 48.2% ABV. The nose offers candied orange peel, dried fruit and ripe orchard fruit. The palate is fruity and elegant, with dried fruit, gentle sweetness and a clear structure. The finish is long and honeyed, with balanced cask spice.
