Aberfeldy – 12 Year Old 2014 Unicorn (54.6%)

A single cask Highland single malt from Aberfeldy, 12 years old and part of the Unicorn Series. It was distilled in 2014, matured in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead and bottled in July 2026 at a natural cask strength of 54.6% ABV. The 269 bottles are non-chill filtered and have no added colour. The label shows a unicorn visiting a crannog on the banks of Loch Tay. The PX hogshead is described as bringing raisins, figs, dark chocolate, treacle and warming spice, with heather honey, ripe orchard fruits and sweet malt from the spirit itself.
