Aberfeldy 12 Year Old is a single malt from Aberfeldy Distillery in Perthshire, where the Dewar family has made whisky since 1898. It is matured in a combination of sherry, bourbon, re-fill and re-char casks, and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings honey, vanilla and toasted cereal. The palate combines heather honey, ripe peaches and a little almond. The finish is warm and lasting, with touches of oak and a gentle smoky undertone.
