This is a 12-year-old unpeated Highland single malt from Aberfeldy, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. After its main maturation, it was finished in Bual Madeira casks.
The finish adds more fruit and spice to Aberfeldy's soft, honeyed style without hiding its easy character.
The nose combines apricot and ripe pear with honey, raisins, vanilla and a little hazelnut. On the palate come creamy orange, honey and toffee, with raisins, milk chocolate and warm baking spices. The finish is warm and gently dry, with honey, citrus, caramel, clove and oak.
