Aberfeldy 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the Perthshire distillery that John Dewar & Sons built in 1896 and opened in 1898.
The distillery was created so that Dewar's could count on a single malt of high quality in good volume. Aberfeldy is best known as the heart of the Dewar's blend, and this twelve-year-old bottling brings the single malt itself to the front.
It is usually described as a fruity, clean and polished malt with a touch of honey and spice.
