An 18 year old Aberfeldy single malt bottled at 46%, from batch 2924/A. It was matured in Sangiovese red wine casks from Bolgheri in Tuscany, which add an intense oak finish to the distillery's honeyed malt.
The nose offers cherry frangipane and vanilla spice. On the palate come robust dark fruit flavours, freshened by sliced green pepper and lime, leading to a soft oak finish.
