A 15 year old Aberfeldy single malt from the 1980s, gold in colour.
The nose is soft and honeyed, with a cake-like sweetness, touches of cured ham and hummus, and a bouillon note in the background.
On the palate it is rich, with dried fruits, figs and a molasses depth alongside meatier, savoury notes. The finish is long and honeyed, with a note of very old Cognac.
