This is Aberfeldy 16 Exceptional Cask, a 16 year old single malt from the Highlands, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV.
Aberfeldy distillery was founded in 1896 by the whisky merchants John Dewar & Sons. It stands beside the River Tay on the edge of the village of the same name, in the southern Highlands. Its malt has long gone into the Dewar's blends, the White Label above all.
