Aberfeldy 16 year old is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle. After 16 years of maturation, the whisky spends a further six months finishing in Oloroso sherry casks.
The maturation is described as bringing dark chocolate and a smooth, rounded mouthfeel. The sherry finish adds subtle fruitcake and dried fruit flavours, giving extra depth and sweetness.
