Aberfeldy – 18 Year Old Bolgheri Tuscan Red Wine Casks (70cl, 43%)

This is Aberfeldy 18 Year Old, a single malt from the 2022 release, in a 70cl bottle at 43% abv. It was matured in Bolgheri Tuscan red wine casks. The wine casks bring robust, dark fruit flavours to the malt and deepen the honeyed richness of the distillery's character. The nose is typically described as cherry frangipane with vanilla spice. On the palate it turns fresher, with sliced green pepper and lime, and it finishes with soft oak.
