A 12 year old Aberfeldy from the Highlands, distilled in 2014 and matured in a refill bourbon barrel. North Star bottled it in March 2026 at 52.8%, with an outturn of 320 bottles.
The nose is fresh, with bright summer fruits and crisp apples. On the palate there are citrus fruits, a touch of pepper and freshly baked bread. The finish recalls Auld's Yum-Yums, a Scottish pastry, along with a sip of double-shot latte.
