This is a 9-year-old Highland single malt from Aberfeldy, distilled in September 2015 and bottled in 2025 by Cooper's Choice for its Golden Cut series. It is bottled at 50% ABV without chill-filtration, in an edition of 282 bottles.
The whisky matured in American oak and was then finished in a Moscatel sweet wine cask.
The nose is sweet and floral, with stewed fruit and a touch of honey. On the palate come fruit and sweet malt, gingerbread, a bite of citrus and a hint of spice. The finish grows steadily spicier and warming.
